My personal and family’s experience with distilled resp. alkaline water

I have been on a healing journey for 26 years, after discovering some major health issues at age 21. I made tremendous progress, then backslid due to extreme mineral depletion caused by drinking distilled water for 15 years. A nutritionist had recommended it for rapid detox, and told me it was the best, purest water and best to drink on a daily basis. But alas, I nearly died and nearly lost my teeth! I found out later that drinking distilled water on a regular basis is quite controversial. It has indeed been a journey, with lots of spiritual and emotional healing as well as physical!

My experience led me to investigate what is often overlooked in many health protocols - the WATER that we drink.

Despite many supplements, juicing, greens, etc. I could not seem to recover from the extreme mineral loss.

About 3 years ago, when I realized that distilled water was detrimental, I shopped for a water purifier. I read about alkaline water's health benefits and it made sense, so I bought a Jupiter water alkalizer, with high hopes.

Unfortunately, I never got any results from the Jupiter machine, and after just 2 1/2 years, it broke. It just quit outputting water, and it had a severe leak. I had bought it from a distributor I'd found on the internet, but I didn't remember the website address, and his phone # was no longer active, so I had no way of finding out whether the warranty was still active or whether it was even possible to have it fixed. The machine had been a lot of trouble - I'd had to buy an aquarium pump and hook it up in order to clean it, which was a major hassle - so I admit that I probably wasn't all that disappointed that it had died. There was no way to open the machine and see where it was leaking, so I trashed it. Since I'd never noticed any difference drinking that water, I assumed that once again I'd be in search of a good quality water purifier of some sort.

After my experience with the Jupiter, I was a bit skeptical about water alkalizers. There seemed to be a lot of major claims about them, but no one in my family ever noticed ANYTHING the entire time we were drinking the Jupiter water.

So, I wasn't exactly very open to the idea when my friend Doug sent me some info about the Enagic water alkalizer. But, I try to always be open-minded, so I took the time to watch the videos on his website. I was amazed to learn about how different the plates are in the Enagic, compared to the Jupiter. I realized that it may very well have just been a huge difference in quality, so I decided to take a chance and try the Enagic. Now, keep in mind that this was at a time when I had recently been laid off, and we had had a very rough year financially! So we REALLY could not afford it! But, neither could we afford not to get it, if it really was as good as people said it was. I was surprised to learn that the Enagic water alkalizer/ionizer is the only water machine sold as a MEDICAL DEVICE in Japan! The Japanese can actually get their doctors to order the machine as treatment, and it is used in many Japanese hospitals. Interestingly, 1 in 5 households in Japan own a water alkalizer, and Japan is ranked #1 for health and longevity in the world! So, rather than waste another $1400 or more on another machine that did nothing for me, I decided to take a leap of faith and invest in what seemed to be the very best.

Within days of drinking the highly alkaline, mineral-rich, antioxidant water, the severe insomnia I had suffered with for 10+ years vanished! My teeth are literally regaining their bone mass before my very eyes (I can actually see the translucent areas becoming opaque!), my receded gums are actually growing back in some places, my husband's hair is turning mostly black again (after being nearly all gray), my own hair, which had been about 25% streaked with gray, has only a handful of gray strands left, and both my husband and I have more energy and a more positive outlook.

Also, I had a severe pain in the area of my left ovary. I had had it for nearly 2 years, and sometimes woke up in the middle of the night thinking that I'd have to go to the hospital. I had not gotten it checked, as I tend to try to deal with things wholistically. Anyway, after 2 months of drinking the Kangen water, I realized that it was GONE! After about 3 months of drinking the Kangen water, I began ovulating again (I am 48 and had not shown any indication of ovulating for several years). I had also suffered from IBS for several years, and that is now gone, except for an occasional flareup if I get really stressed out.

In addition, my elderly dog, who had severe arthritis and could barely walk, is now running around with the other dogs! I used to have to pick him up and take him outside in the morning, and now he wakes me up, prancing!

High alkaline water and low acidic water: unique valuable features of the Enagic machine

In addition to the alkaline/antioxidant water, Enagic’s machine also produces high alkaline water and low acidic water (both unique features worldwide found in no other machine). High alkaline water among other things removes pesticides, and the low acidic water kills E coli, salmonella, staph, MRSA, and other infections as an added bonus.

A cat’s experience with Kangen and high acidic water

I have also found the strong acidic water to be useful with my cats, who tend to sometimes come home with wounds. I now have a way to treat the wounds effectively. I recently treated a cat's infected ear with the strong acidic water in the ear and Kangen water internally. This elderly cat was living at my son's college dorm, but just came home a month ago. She had a tumorous mass in that ear, along with a nasty-smelling infection. I have been giving her Kangen water to drink 3-4 times daily, fresh from the machine, mixed with some canned cat food, to get her to drink it promptly. The very first day, her ear started oozing foul-smelling pus. The ear continued to drain for 3 weeks, then the discharge decreased. I then started pouring the strong acidic water from my Enagic machine into the ear, holding it for 1 minute (I wrapped her in a towel to avoid getting clawed!) to kill the infection. I've been doing this for 3 days now, and the ear no longer smells and is no longer draining. I just ordered an otoscope so I can check myself to see if the tumor is gone, but I expect that it will be, for her symptoms have all disappeared. Also, she used to sleep all day when she was at my son's college dorm, and she now is very frisky and energetic, even though she is 15 years old. My goal was to get her well by the time my son returns to college, and I believe the Kangen water and the strong acidic water have accomplished that!

Summary: my experiences with Jupiter’s machine vs Enagic’s machine

Keep in mind, that for the previous 2.5 years, we were drinking the water from the Jupiter machine. It was during this time that my insomnia became very severe, our hair turned gray, I developed the ovarian cyst (or fibroid or whatever it was), and my dog developed arthritis. I am NOT saying that the Jupiter machine caused those things, of course, but neither did they prevent them! So, even though the Jupiter company claims that their water is as good as Kangen water, their machine simply did not produce the results.

I hesitated about buying another, more expensive water alkalizer since the first one never did anything for me, but after I watched the comparison video, I understood that there is a big difference in quality.
