Wikipedia
from altruistic and egalitarian foundations to propaganda, disinformation, and suppression of truth

Some people already suspected it, but it has now become a certainty: Wikipedia is subject to targeted, even systematic manipulation in favor of influential interest groups from politics and business (not least the medical and pharmaceutical industry) who seek to push through their agenda in this way. Numerous sources show that this is not just a conspiracy theory and how it happens in practice.
In fact who should know better than one of the two Wikipedia founders who now says
"I no longer trust the website I created" (2021)
An in-depth article discussing Is Wikipedia an open encyclopedia or a covert propaganda platform?: includes numerous links to videos and further reading.

We'll Tell You What to Think: Wikipedia, Propaganda and the Making of Liberal Consensus (2021)
by T.J. Coles PhD
"... exposes the hidden hands behind Wikipedia... With big money from big banks and big oil, the Wikimedia Foundation shapes the faux liberal culture that smears peace activists, attacks dissident journalists, hides the truth about nuclear weapons, distorts facts on climate change, and promotes US-led wars of aggression. The book also documents the Google-YouTube-Wiki axis that creates thought bubbles and attempts to discredit outside thinkers... With altruistic and egalitarian rhetoric at its foundation, Wikipedia doesn’t hold up to anything that can be described as such. Indeed, it serves the opposite, and as a means to destroy any critical, and indeed true, perspective!"
What Wikipedia Doesn't Want You to Know about Macrobiotics: 100+ Scientific and Medical Studies Showing the Benefits of a Plant-Based Macrobiotic Diet 2017
by Alex Jack and Edward Esko
"This book summarizes the key medical studies, scientific reports, and case histories on diet and heart disease, cancer, diabetes, arthritis, and other disorders... Unfortunately, because of its bias against alternative medicine and holistic health, Wikipedia does not fairly represent macrobiotics and many other integrative approaches. The contents of this book were submitted to Wikipedia but immediately rejected as fringe, although they summarized scores of peer-reviewed scientific studies. Hence, this book is being published and we are creating our own web site Makropedia.com as the Encyclopedia of Diet and Health."
Two newly published books in German:
Schwarzbuch Wikipedia: Mobbing, Diffamierung und Falschinformation in der Online-Enzyklopädie und was jetzt dagegen getan werden muss (Black book Wikipedia: Bullying, defamation and misinformation in the online encyclopedia and what needs to be done about it now)
Schwarzbuch Wikipedia 2: Das verlogene System: Propaganda, Korruption, Ausbeutung, Vandalismus und Rechtsverletzungen in der Online-Enzyklopädie (Black Book Wikipedia 2: The dishonest system: propaganda, corruption, exploitation, vandalism and legal violations in the online encyclopaedia)
Also includes a discussion of the dubious financing of the supporting organization “Wikimedia Foundation” and the circles in which its leaders move.
